Our Beneficiaries

The Lives We Serve

Children  •  Women  •  Streets & Communities

At AmyCharles Hope Foundation (AHF), our beneficiaries are not numbers, they are names, faces, and stories. From children in orphanages and classrooms, to widows, market women, street beggars, and homeless individuals, we walk with people in vulnerable places so they can step into dignity, strength, and hope.

Every gift, outreach, and project is designed to protect dignity and open real doors of opportunity for the people we serve.

Who We Serve

People at the Heart of Our Work

Our beneficiaries come from many backgrounds, but they share one thing in common: they are often overlooked, under-served, or living without basic support. AHF steps in with practical help and long-term empowerment.

Children & Young People

Orphanage Children & Students

Children in orphanages, pupils in public schools, and out-of-school youths who need more than a meal—they need love, learning opportunities, and a sense of belonging.

Women & Families

Widows, Mothers & Market Women

Widows, vulnerable women and market women who are rebuilding their lives, feeding their families, and sustaining communities through courage and small-scale businesses.

Streets & Communities

Street Beggars, Homeless & Low-Income Communities

People living on the streets, in temporary shelters, or in under-served communities who struggle daily for food, shelter, and dignity.

Children in Orphanages

Children at Our Saviour & Triumphant Orphanages

Our very first outreach was to Our Saviour Orphanage Home, where children received toiletries, school bags, clothes, cartons of juice and biscuits, and foodstuffs. Since then, we have continued to visit homes like Triumphant Orphanage, celebrating Christmas with food, gifts, clothing, and encouragement—so every child knows they are loved, seen, and not forgotten.

Pupils & Out-of-School Children

Classroom Support & Education Opportunities

At Community Primary School 2, Eneka, we supported pupils with essential stationeries to help them stay in school and pursue their dreams. Through our focus on Educational Support for Out-of-School Children, we identify children who are out of school or at risk of dropping out and help them return to the classroom through scholarships, uniforms, school supplies, and re-enrollment support.

Girls & Young Women

Dignity, Hygiene & WAEC Scholarships

At Community Comprehensive Secondary School, we distributed 30 cartons of sanitary pads to girls, promoting dignity and menstrual hygiene. We also awarded scholarships to support selected students with their WAEC examinations, ensuring that financial limitations do not stop them from completing their education.

Widows & Vulnerable Women

Widows Empowerment & Women Uplift

In Akwete community and other locations, we support widows and vulnerable women through Women Empowerment outreaches—providing wrappers, bags of rice, medical treatment, and financial support for small-scale businesses. Through skills training, mentoring, and emotional care, we help women move from dependency to stability and strength.

Street & Homeless Persons

Street Beggars Support & Basic Relief

At YKC roundabout in Port Harcourt and other street locations, we serve beggars and homeless individuals with cooked meals, drinks, clothing, and basic care. Through our Basic Relief for the Homeless, we provide food, clothing, and, where possible, temporary shelter—restoring warmth, dignity, and a sense of being seen.

Communities & Market Women

Community Food Support & Market Women Outreach

Families around No. 8 Ogunka Street, Rumuewhara, market women at Culvert Market, and communities like Bomu, Gokana LGA benefit from foodstuffs, basic supplies, and encouragement. We combine respect for community leadership with practical support, standing with those who work daily just to keep food on the table.
