Our Core Values
At AmyCharles Hope Foundation (AHF), our work is guided by values that shape how we see people, how we serve, and how we use every resource entrusted to us. These values are the heart behind every outreach, visit, and act of kindness.
The heart that drives every act of kindness
From the streets to orphanages and struggling communities, these values keep us grounded, focused, and faithful to the people we serve and the partners who trust us.
Compassion
We don’t just give because we have; we give because we truly care.
We are moved by the pain and struggles of others, and we respond with genuine care. We listen, we show up, and we treat every person with warmth, patience, and respect—whether they are on the streets, in an orphanage, or in a struggling community.
Integrity
Trust is as important as impact in everything we do.
Integrity guides how we handle donations, manage projects, and relate with our beneficiaries and partners. We are committed to honesty, transparency, and doing the right thing—even when no one is watching—so that every supporter can be confident that their support is used wisely.
Empowerment
We work for lasting change, not just momentary relief.
Empowerment means giving people tools, skills, knowledge, and opportunities so they can stand on their own. Through education support, vocational training, and small-business empowerment, we help widows, youths, and vulnerable families move from dependence to independence.
These values keep our work transparent, responsible, and inclusive of every person we are called to serve.
Accountability
Every gift, volunteer hour, and partnership is a trust.
We are answerable to the people we serve and the people who support us. Accountability means we measure our impact, give clear reports, and remain open about how resources are used. We honour every contribution by being responsible, reliable, and thorough.
Inclusiveness
No one is left out, and no one is treated as less.
We believe that every person deserves dignity, regardless of their background, age, gender, tribe, or belief. We serve homeless persons, widows, out-of-school children, orphans, and street beggars without discrimination, making sure no one is left out or treated as less important.
